help me decide on a couch...

so i found these cute leather couches...but i'm torn btwn. red or black. black is def. easier to match, but the red is bold and different! the red actually looks nicer at the store than how it looks in the pic..! it's hard finding furniture that is fairly inexpensive. help...

in honor of my friend Jim, i decided to take a picture of the Mden in 12 oaks mall today. didn't actually go in, though. next time Jim visits, we will def. go to the mall and take our yearly pictures @ Santa's workstation =)

Eight Below

Watched Eight Below again. Forgot how much I ♥this movie! (and Paul Walker) A definite must see for everyone!!!~

Discovered a new Japanese Restaurant...YOTSUBA in W. Bloomfield. Very nice, very romantic :) Great service...fresh food. Still not the same as Japan, but pretty close. $5 Mai-Tai's, too!

a mother's love

i watched this movie a long time ago...and just watched it again today. what a powerful movie! last august, while i was in chicago, a guy i met at a conference told me i look like one of the girls from this movie. i still am not sure who he meant, lol. anyhow, this movie reminds me of the burdens and hardships our mother's have endured in order to survive to see their daughters grow up through the years. one of my all-time fav. movies!

Interesting...this is one of my fav. verses, and today I couldn't remember exactly where it was in Philippians. Well, my handy "verse for the day" facebook application had this as the verse (as if it read my mind). How ironic, eh? :)
